Wednesday!!!

Wow it's mid-week already. I have started a new position this week as the evening charge nurse for the operating room where I work. It has been interesting, a little nerve racking, and very exciting. I am trying to better myself from the inside out. I know many of you are following my blog for crafting ideas, blog giveaways, and Stampin Up. So when I go on these rants just skip them.

I have started a 90 day process to bring myself to the person I know I can be. I am easily the person I beat up when things aren't going well. I don't know if any of you do this but, I have to make everything perfect. I try and stay 2-3 steps ahead in order to not have something go wrong in doing that I am not living in the moment. I am not smelling the flowers, I am deciding which flowers will be cut, what vase they will go in and what dinner I will cook to show off the pretty flowers. I am more mentally exhausted that I ever could be physically. Exercise, are you kidding I wake up tired and you want me to workout.

I have always been a people pleaser, a nurturer, and a friend. I want, like and need friends. With that being said, I have only let a few people really into who I am on the inside. I have done this because I don't want people to know that my psychie is so beat up by my thoughts. I guess it's almost like being battered and hiding it because you don't want everyone around you knowing what is going on at home. Well I feel that way within myself.

With all that being said. I am worth what life gives me. I will fall and skin my knees from time to time. I will get up put a bandaid on the wound, and the scars will be a reminder that I made it through that in one piece and it will not happen again.

I would also like to upload a video on how I made these flowers. I did use Tim Holtz, and Creations with Cristina's video's and tweeked mine just a little. The real difference is the inner petals. I also used 3 different sized flowers to give the wreath different dimensions.

Happy Sunday...

I had no idea that I have not posted since Wednesday. Sorry about that. We are now at 48 followers. Yeah!!! 2 more and we will have a giveaway. I haven't done any projects since the Easter cards. We have put a bid in for a house and are now waiting for the bank to get back with us. We should know something by Friday. Happy thoughts and Prayers are always welcome.

I did apply to be a Pink Designer for the Pink Stamper and was not picked this time around. So I am adding a picture of a really cute Easter wreath I made. I took the idea from someone's St. Patty's Day wreath (I'd have to find the name if you want it). Hope you like. If you'd like to know how I made it, leave me a comment and I will be sure and get the measurements and such to you.

Spring Blizzard...

Last night we had about 12 inches of snow fall. I live Southeast of Denver, CO and it snowed like CRAZY!!! I did take a few pics and will post soon. Happy Thursday!!!

New Video

Hi everyone...
New video uploaded. I think these came out really cute. I used the Chocolate Bunny Stamp from Stampin Up. I made these like cards,and then cut them in half to a "postcard" size. I am going to add a sentiment on the back and a message for my family and friends. I have been told twice that I cannot list any other supplies other than Stampin UP on my blog so I will follow the rules because I really like being a Demo. I don't necessarily agree with this rule but what can you do.

Busy Sunday...

I am going to a crop in Winter Park in about a month. I have yet to get ANY of my supplies together or my layouts started. So I have decided to do start on that today. So I will post pics later on what I have accomplished..

A House Hunting we will go...

Well we looked at 3 houses today and really liked one of them. Cross your fingers for us. My youngest daugther is so excited and can't hardly wait. I will keep everyone posted.

Now I need to make a project. So I was thinking... hmmm.. it needs to have a house feel to it. I will post something soon.

Finally Friday!!!

First I would like to thank everyone for the kind wishes for my daughter. She is doing well, just sore which is to be expected. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone for the kind wishes for me. This week has been a very challenging week for me and my family. I have prayed, cried, and hoped more than I think I have my whole life. I believe that bad things do happen to good people and that things come in threes. Well my three have come and gone and my prayers go out to those who are beginning their three.

We are in the process of house hunting. We went and saw a mortgage broker this morning to see exactly what we qualified for. It wasn't as much as we had hoped but our credit is good and there is a house we are looking at. So once again my blog friends happy thoughts, and prayers are always welcome.

I am going to be putting up a new video/project tomorrow. It will have a Easter theme. I am at 43 followers in the short time that I have had my blog. I am so grateful for all of you. I will be having some fun when I reach 50 followers. Only the 50 followers will be able to be entered into the drawing.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!!!

May the luck of the Irish shine down on everyone. I have decided that today is the first day of the rest of my life. I can either spend my remaining years happy or sad. I can love what I have or I can always wish for something else. If you read yesterday's post you can see why I have had a change of heart.

My daughter is doing great just sore from both the accident and the surgery. I missed work today. I woke up very sore from the accident but will be there tomorrow. Thanks everyone for you thoughts and prayers.

I am going to attempt to post a project later today. Happy Stampin everyone and remember to Ink It UP!!!

Tuesday Blues...

Well I thought yesterday was bad, well today topped this list of all time bad days. I will start on a positive note. My daughters surgery went well, she had only 1 lump removed and it does not appear to be cancerous. Now for today. We (my daughter and I) were heading to the hospital for her to have surgery and of we were running late and yes I was in a hurry. We some gentleman in a pickup truck in front of me was playing games, speeding up and slowing down, for about 2 miles. Well next thing I know he floored his brakes, no warning, no tapping, just WHAM!!! Yup, you guessed it, I rear ended him. Well the police and fire department came to the seen and this "gentleman" stated that a fox ran out in front of him. Yeah right, when I first hit him the first thing out of his mouth was "why were you riding my a**." I got a summons from the accident and have to appear in court the day before my birthday. I may have to pay a $175 fine, and loose 4 points on my license. It is up to the DA.

Then I get home from my daughter's surgery to find a letter from a collection agency. At this point in my story I will give you some back ground. I am an RN in a busy Spine and Total Joint Center (operating room), about a month ago I got stuck by a dirty needle that someone had thrown in the trash. Well according to the facility a needle stick wins you a free trip to the ER. I took my trip to the ER, got my blood drawn, filled out the required paperwork, and went along my merry way. Now back to today. The hospital that I work at turned me over to a collection agency for the unpaid bill when it wasn't even my bill. It is the hospital's responsibility for this bill.

So that is my day in a nut shell. If anyone has a favorite prayer, chant, good luck charm I so could use the help. Thanks for the vent. Keep me in your thoughts tomorrow. I am already getting sore tonight so I know my back is gonna kill me in the morning.

What a Day...

Wow, did I have a day or what??? What you ask happened?? Well my dog decided to make friends or attempt to make friends with a skunk in the pasture. Yup you guessed it he got sprayed and sprayed good. My girls started bathing him at 3:30pm and we just got done a little bit ago. 6 gallons of tomato juice, dish soap, baking soda, peroxide, and lemons later he smells somewhat better. I guess the rest of the smell has to wear off.

I hope everyone else had a better day. My daughter is having surgery tomorrow, so keep us in you thoughts....

Daylight Saving's Time...

Already...Seriously!!! Oh, well what can you do. I stayed up really late working on a few projects. I will post pics when they are done. Hope everyone is having a great day and working on some fun stuff.

New Video!!!!

As promised Finally, the new video. I used the Cricut TBBM for the flower box and I believe it is cut at 4" with the window feature. I used Martha Stewart for the punch, and the rest is mentioned on the video. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Wow what a week!!!

First I would like to say that our blog candy winner received her "goodies" and she loved them. Thanks for playing. I have had some feed back about the blog jumping to a different screen. I think I figured out the issues and have it fixed. Thanks for your patience.

I have been working on a project for my oldest daughter. I am making 24 invitations for her that are to appear as a high school year book. Very detailed, very time consuming.

I am going to attempt again to get a video loaded for everyone with a St. Patty's theme. Now since I have the blog figured out the issue with the blog. I think we will be good to go.

Happy Wednesday!!!!

Well as we all can see the video for Tuesday did not take place, why you ask??? I am in the process of making 24 invitations for my oldest daughter. They are binded with 5 pages in the middle to represent a high school year book. I spent HOURS last night inking the edges of the pages (front and back). I was only able to do 14 and have 10 more to go. Talk about cramped fingers. I have the St. Patty's day project cut I just need to upload the video. I hope to have that done today. Thanks for your patience and your support.

Alice in Wonderland!!!!

I took my family to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D last night!!! It was Amazing!!! I would recommend it for everyone. The 3D visuals was really cool. There was times when I wanted to reach out and touch the characters.

I will be putting up a new video today that has a St. Patty's Day theme!!! Keep watching.
